HONOREES:

Marlene
Carson
Founder of
Rehab's Hideaway
As a former trafficking victim herself, Ms. Carson used her own home in Columbus Ohio to provide shelter for other victims. Today, she is responsible for six shelters that rehabilitate the lives of prostituted children. She sits on the Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force where she works with law enforcement and advocates to protect youth from traffickers.

Ursula
Fahy
Producer,
ABC Network
On September 22nd, 2010, Nightline Investigates, produced by Ursula Fahy, exposed the horrific crime of domestic trafficking of American teenagers lured, manipulated, and forced into prostitution. In this daring two-part series, sex trafficking, which is normally thought to be a foreign crime, was exposed for having a deep root in one of America's most unsuspecting cities-Portland.
